The Business Advisors Certificate (BAC) training at the AWBC 2023 Conference

Our new Business Advisor Certificate (BAC) program for business advisors was launched in late July 2023 at the annual Association of Women Business Centers (AWBC) conference in Washington, DC. Over 29 participants engaged in the two-hour interactive program that focused on empowering the entrepreneurs and business clients of women business advisors.

Participants received several business Pro-Tools that helped them make decisions on how to empower clients to take ownership and action and other supporting documentation.

All participants must complete at least three workshops to receive the Business Advisor Foundations Certificate (BAC).

Other upcoming sessions include topics such as The Client Journey: Mastering the Customer Journey from Onboarding to Impact, Client Connection: Building Trust and Rapport with Any Client, Client Mindsets: How Your Attitude Can Transform Your Client’s Mindset, Client Engagement: Engaging Client Companies for the Long Haul, and Client Ethics: Making Ethics and Inclusion Part of Daily Practice.

The Business Advisor Certificate (BAC) Foundations Level, can be completed In-Person or Online (Live or OnDemand), allowing business advisors to complete a professional development program focused on interpersonal skills to become a trusted advisor.
